How to report artwork you believe infringes your copyright, and what we do about it.

Customers upload their own artwork to this site. If you believe something we have printed or displayed infringes your copyright, tell us and we will act on it.

Reporting an infringement

Send a written notice to our designated agent containing:

  1. Your physical or electronic signature.
  2. What work you say has been infringed.
  3. What on our site infringes it, specifically enough that we can find it — a URL or an order number.
  4. Your address, telephone number and email address.
  5. A statement that you believe in good faith that the use is not authorised by the copyright owner, its agent, or the law.
  6. A statement, under penalty of perjury, that the information is accurate and that you are the owner or authorised to act for them.

What happens next

We remove or disable access to the material, and tell the customer who uploaded it what was removed and why.

If you think we got it wrong

If your design was removed and you believe that was a mistake, you can send a counter-notification to the same agent, containing your signature, what was removed and where it was, a statement under penalty of perjury that you believe it was removed by mistake or misidentification, and your name, address and phone number, together with your consent to the jurisdiction of the federal court for your district.

If we receive a valid counter-notification we may restore the material after 10 business days, unless the original complainant tells us they have filed a court action.

Repeat infringers

We keep a record of upheld copyright complaints against a customer. Accounts that repeatedly infringe are terminated and we will refuse to print for them again. This is a policy we actually enforce, not a sentence in a document.

False claims

Knowingly misrepresenting that material is infringing carries liability for damages under 17 U.S.C. § 512(f). Please be sure before you send a notice.
